Welcome to Wild Woodlanders.
A forest school that offers outdoor adventures.
About us
Wild Woodlanders is run by Heather and Charlotte, two people passionate about getting people out doors and enjoying the natural world around them whilst learning new skills. Our aim is to offer children (and adults) a chance to explore nature in a relaxed child-led session, allowing them to learn play and explore whilst taking calculated risks in a safe and friendly environment.

Children are encouraged to explore the forest school area as they please. They may choose to cook us some delicious mud dinners, go on a bug hunt, build a fairy house, make some natural crafts or relax in our hammock. All while developing many attributes such as social skills, fine and gross motor technique, language skills and develop their emotional well being.

We run holiday clubs and parties from our site at Bellows Mill in Eaton Bray (www.bellowsmill.co.uk).

Heather and Charlotte met whilst they were working at a school and discovered they shared a passion for outdoor learning. Both are qualified level three Forest School leaders. Charlotte holds a higher teaching assistant qualification and Heather holds a masters degree in Applied Wildlife Conservation, a degree in Animal Science and has early years childcare qualifications.

Wild Woodlanders is fully insured and all sessions are run with at least one person qualified in pediatric first aid. Both Heather and Charlotte are qualified Designated Safeguarding leads (DSL).
